Monster Jam Showdown : Le meilleur jeu de la discipline ?

Si l’on vous parle de terrain boueux, de dérapages extrêmes, de figures acrobatiques, de gros bolides américains et de carrosserie qui voltige, vous penserez probablement au Monster Jam, cet événement qui met en avant des Monster Trucks imposants. Bien que peu populaire en Europe, cette discipline a été adaptée plusieurs fois en jeu vidéo, avec Monster Jam Showdown étant le dernier en date. C’est l’occasion de faire vrombir les moteurs et de froisser de la tôle.

Ce n’est d’ailleurs pas le premier jeu à adapter cette discipline, mais Monster Jam Showdown est de loin le meilleur.

Il est difficile de ne pas comparer Monster Jam Showdown avec Monster Jam Steel Titans, sorti il y a quelques années sous la direction de THQ Nordic. Bien que les deux jeux soient basés sur la même discipline, Monster Jam Showdown est clairement supérieur. Les graphismes sont plus réalistes, les pistes sont mieux conçues et les Trucks sont plus détaillés. De plus, Monster Jam Showdown propose une expérience de jeu plus immersive grâce à une meilleure bande-son et une meilleure jouabilité.

Monster Jam Showdown propose plusieurs modes de jeu pour satisfaire tous les joueurs. Vous pouvez choisir de jouer en solo ou en multijoueur, en ligne ou en local. Le mode solo comprend plusieurs défis et épreuves qui vous permettent de gagner de l’argent pour personnaliser vos Trucks.
